Die Tage habe ich das Spiel On Tour gespielt. Man soll eine Band-Tournee durch die USA planen. Dabei hat man als Spielbrett diese Landkarte. In die einzelnen Staaten trägt man dann gewürfelte Zahlen ein. Man würfelt mit zwei W10 und setzt die beiden Ziffern in beiden Kombinationen zusammen. Würfelt man 1 und 5, so muss man die 15 und 51 eintragen. Es ist noch ein wenig eingeschränkt, wohin man diese eintragen darf.
Tridom ist ein klassisches Spiel, bei dem man letztlich Domino mit Dreiecken spielt. Man hat eine gewisse Anzahl Steine auf der Hand, die man anlegen muss. Der erste Spieler, der keine Steine mehr auf der Hand hat, beendet das Spiel. Man bekommt beim Legen des Steines die Summe der Ziffern als Punkte gutgeschrieben; der Spieler mit den meisten Punkten gewinnt.
Recently I have moved and since I've basically exchanged flats with somebody else and her friend, I have been driving around three locations for a whole weekend. I would try to figure out which stuff to load into the car, where to drive next, which person to bring along on the free seat. One would of course need to drive the car where the stuff should go to, but also have a sufficient number of people to carry stuff and put up furniture.
Bei ALDI gibt es wegen der Mehrwertsteuersenkung aktuell 3 % auf alles. Mediamarkt hatte manchmal auch so Aktionen, bei denen es 19 % Rabatt unter dem Motto »Mediamarkt schenkt die Mehrwertsteuer« gibt. Interessant ist ja eigentlich, dass bei den Rabatten die Preise sogar noch weiter gesenkt werden als nötig.
As part of IQ tests there are these horrible number sequence tests. I hate them with a passion because they are mathematically ill-defined problems. A super simple one would be to take 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and ask for the next number. One could find this very easy and say that this sequence are the odd numbers and therefore the next number should be 11. But searching at the The On-Line Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences (OEIS) for that exact sequence gives 521 different results! Here are the first ten of them:
Don't ask me why mind works that way, but for some reason I reacalled a card trick that a neighbor kid showed me when I was little. At the time I found it impressive that such things can even work. And today I could not really recall how the trick worked from the performer, but how it appears to the audience.
